Nephew of then manager Terry Pearce, Big Darren was Pot Blacks original Talisman, back when it all began. Despite knee problems that meant he was more of static target man than a dynamic striker, his ability to hang in the air for headers and natural eye for goal, left an impressive legacy which included a goals to games ratio that any forward would dream of.
