Date Retired/Tfrd/Left- Retired July'09 due to injury

After completing his 9th Season in 2008-09 for Pot Black since signing in from Beccles Town after several seasons in their first XI, Simon made the shock decision to leave the Anglian Comb side in his prime to play along side his older brother Shaun for Pot Black in District Division 3. Simon quickly established himself as the star man in an average side with some stunning box to box, goal scoring displays. Unfortunately Simon's appearances do not mirror his length of service as in his first few years while dragging the side by its scruff to success he picked up several bad injuries and in more recent years he has been more happy to play a bit part role, scoring 3 important goals in 5 games this term. Unfortunately Si has been forced to finally hang up his boots for both Pot Black and the all conquering Kirkley Vets side after sustaining a bad knee injury.

Ross Jones

Position- Centre half/ Midfield
Games Played- 161
Goals Scored- 33
Cautions- 0
S/O- 0

Date Retired/Tfrd/Left- N/A

In the very beginning Ross was the young starlet around which the inaugural side was built, following his switch form Kirkley 'A' (Div 1)to Pot Black (Div 3).
Now a veteran amongst the young squad and entering his testimonial season, Ross is with out doubt still a major influence on Pot Blacks success. Famed for his dribbles out of defence, quick release knees and unbelievably unblemished disciplinary record, he still has plenty of gas left in the tank and may be the first player to break the 200 games barrier.

Goals Scored- 55

S/O- 0
Date Retired/Tfrd/Left-
Tfrd to CDS Waveney Res Jan'08

Kurt is the youngest Mansbridge Brother and the creative playmaker of the three. Kurt is the current holder the most Pot Black goals ever, a record he has held since 2000 and with the higher scoring players on his tail also leaving, it appears a record that could easily stand for some time to come. Kurt like Paul was season 1 original who will be remembered with a smile by his team mate, for his spectacular goals (a 45 yard volly vs Beccles Caxton will live long in the memory) and his tongue in cheek moaning.

Left Nov'07

Michael was a massively popular team member who was dubbed the Prodigal Son, after his two successful spells with Pot Black were separated by 4 years away at University in London. In 2005 his determination, non stop running and natural goal scorring ability made him an instant hit with the players who had joined in his absence and shock waves were sent through the division as word of mouth spread of a player to be feared. A.j like Luke Davison moved away to further his career in London.

Date Retired/Tfrd/Left-
Left end of 2005/06 Season

When Luke initially signed for Pot Black F.C from Sanyo f.c with New Captain Kev Sherwood and Darryl Baldry, he and Darryl approached manager Danny McKinley to see if they would even get a game, how ironic that they would become star players over the forthcoming campaigns. Luke started as dynamic wide man although his eye goal did not go unnoticed as he eventually was first choice stirker pairing up in the Championship winning side of 2005/06 with Michael Adjaye for a partnership that destroyed every defence in the league that season through sheer pace. Unfortunatly Luke left at the end of the season, moving to cardiff for a new job and to live with his Girlfriend.
