Date Retired/Tfrd/Left- Tfrd to CDS Waveney Res Jan'08
Kurt is the youngest Mansbridge Brother and the creative playmaker of the three. Kurt is the current holder the most Pot Black goals ever, a record he has held since 2000 and with the higher scoring players on his tail also leaving, it appears a record that could easily stand for some time to come. Kurt like Paul was season 1 original who will be remembered with a smile by his team mate, for his spectacular goals (a 45 yard volly vs Beccles Caxton will live long in the memory) and his tongue in cheek moaning.

Michael was a massively popular team member who was dubbed the Prodigal Son, after his two successful spells with Pot Black were separated by 4 years away at University in London. In 2005 his determination, non stop running and natural goal scorring ability made him an instant hit with the players who had joined in his absence and shock waves were sent through the division as word of mouth spread of a player to be feared. A.j like Luke Davison moved away to further his career in London.

When Luke initially signed for Pot Black F.C from Sanyo f.c with New Captain Kev Sherwood and Darryl Baldry, he and Darryl approached manager Danny McKinley to see if they would even get a game, how ironic that they would become star players over the forthcoming campaigns. Luke started as dynamic wide man although his eye goal did not go unnoticed as he eventually was first choice stirker pairing up in the Championship winning side of 2005/06 with Michael Adjaye for a partnership that destroyed every defence in the league that season through sheer pace. Unfortunatly Luke left at the end of the season, moving to cardiff for a new job and to live with his Girlfriend.

Keith began his Pot Black career right at the beginning as a box to box dynamo midfielder, with hardly a bad performance amongst his 98 appearences, although this should have been a much larger figure a injury blighted much of his P.B career.
After a year's retirement in 2003/04, Keith returned for one last crack and helped lift the title. Inspired by success he was pursuaded into one more season in his newly aquired position as part of a defensive back three, although cruelly after just four excellent performances injury struck and jacko has yet to return.

Tony was Pot Black's Iron man, super fit, committed and reliable. Tony signed for Pot Black and filled the sides problem left back spot at the start of 2001/02 in our first season in Division 2 and became hugely popular due to his 100% displays. Due to lack of matches at the start of the 2004/05 season Tony signed for a competent Suffolk Punch side and enjoyed a successful first season finishing 3rd in the league.

Paul the oldest of our three dedicated and long serving Mansbridge brothers, was the clubs second captain installed by then new manager Danny McKinley and the first player to break the 100 games barrier, quite some achievement in the fickle world of football these days. Paul was initially central midfield deployed in a holding role which with time developed into a commanding centre half role which saw him peak in the 2001/02 season with a well deserved Players player award.

Dean was another of the senior players at the beginning. A popular member of the squad and player who others looked upto. Comfortable on the ball, strong in the air and had a sweet left foot, which came to the clubs rescue on more than on occassion. Most notably when he scored both goals in a 2-0 victory at Dip farm, the first from his own half and the next direct from a corner (the second he had scored of the season).

Kevin who was the clubs original team captain, and was the foundation on which the club was built in the early years. Despite being in his mid 30's whilst playing for the club, his suprising pace made him a formidable opponent and more than a match for any young wipper snapper. Original retirement was short lived when he was tempted out to represent Pot Black's newly reformed Sunday side and had a short spell for Carlton Rangers.

Nephew of then manager Terry Pearce, Big Darren was Pot Blacks original Talisman, back when it all began. Despite knee problems that meant he was more of static target man than a dynamic striker, his ability to hang in the air for headers and natural eye for goal, left an impressive legacy which included a goals to games ratio that any forward would dream of.
